The California Autism Professional Training and Information Network (CAPTAIN) is a cross agency network developed to support the understanding and use of evidence based practices (EBPs) for individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) across the state of California.
The National Clearinghouse on Autism Evidence and Practice
The National Clearinghouse on Autism Evidence and Practice conducts systematic reviews of the current intervention literature targeting individuals on the autism spectrum. Their scientists reviewed research studies published between 1990-2017 which examined the impact of behavioral, educational, clinical and developmental practices and service models used with individuals on the autism spectrum from birth through age 22. The 2020 NCAEP EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES REPORT is the most up-to-date and comprehensive review of autism interventions and therapies available.
Autism Focused Intervention Resources & Modules
AFIRM Modules are designed to help you learn the step-by-step process of planning for, using, and monitoring an Evidence-Based Practice with learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder from birth to 22 years of age. Supplemental materials and handouts are available for download.
